- It's the problem of Sportster V34+, I am not saying V34. The V34 need
- the EPROM upgrade to V34+. The modem I have bought was purchased
- direct from the HK distributor - Synergy and it was V34+.
- The v34+ upgrade mainly enable the modem connected and file
- transferred in 28800 bps more steady but not at 26400 or 24000 as
- experienced by most V34 modem user. Of Course, if the ISP and the tel
- line supports, you may be connected at 33600 bps. (Please check out
- the details from USRobotics www.usr.com)

- The 'solution' you mentioned is actually provided by Mr Francis Fong
- from Synergy and I don't think it is a solution. (add ,, after each
- tel nos u dial? Why should I do that? why don't use other modem?) You
- may check out how many customers complaining about the Sportster
- series in the CIS USR forum and the windows forum, not mention the HK
- newsgroup months before when the "solution" given out.
-
- p.s. Windows 95 cannot detect the Sportster V34+ until the latest .inf
- released by USR on 12/3/96, you may find it on CompuServe.
