  32. It's the problem of Sportster V34+, I am not saying V34.  The V34 need
  33. the EPROM upgrade to V34+. The modem I have bought was purchased
  34. direct from the HK distributor - Synergy and it was V34+.
  35. The v34+ upgrade mainly enable the modem connected and file
  36. transferred in 28800 bps more steady but not at 26400 or 24000 as
  37. experienced by most V34 modem user.  Of Course, if the ISP and the tel
  38. line supports, you may be connected at 33600 bps. (Please check out
  39. the details from USRobotics www.usr.com)

  45. The 'solution' you mentioned is actually provided by Mr Francis Fong
  46. from Synergy and I don't think it is a solution. (add ,, after each
  47. tel nos u dial?  Why should I do that? why don't use other modem?) You
  48. may check out how many customers complaining about the Sportster
  49. series in the CIS USR forum and the windows forum, not mention the HK
  50. newsgroup months before when the "solution" given out.

  52. p.s. Windows 95 cannot detect the Sportster V34+ until the latest .inf
  53. released by USR on 12/3/96, you may find it on CompuServe.
